Kiki and I have been friends for over 25 years which all started when I worked for her at her shop in Walton Street. Over the years as our friendship has grown, we have both been inspired by our different passions; mine design and fragrance and Kiki’s, the ballet and of course her love of designing jewellery.
I have been lucky enough to have acquired some wonderful pieces of jewellery from her collections which are both timeless and beautiful. I cherish these pieces as I do my memories of the wonderful evenings of ballet that Kiki has shared with me. Most memorable was a wonderful performance at the Opera House of Romeo and Juliet with Lauren Cuthbertson and Frederico Bonelli. I have never forgotten it….

Kiki has been wonderfully supportive of my fragrance business and I have enjoyed sharing with her my passion for scent. When she asked me to created two candles for her, it wasn’t difficult as I knew what she liked from what she loved to burn from my collection at home. I have created two opposing scents based on her love of leather and woody notes but also her love of neroli and florals.
As many of my fragrances are created from my memories, it seemed appropriate to name them Romeo and Juliet and seal both our passions and memories together. We are pictured here at the launch event of the candles at her Chelsea shop.
The event was attended by press, close industry friends and VIP clients. This partnership has cemented our friendship further. You can find the candles at her shop or online.
